u just take 1 while hes in the air and combine background shots taken over and underexposed... its ERY possible... know your stuff first :p

actualy wuffy ur wrong... u can do HDR with action shots... by combining frames taking before or after under and over exposed or een by extrapolating the data from a single raw file to do a quasi hdr... and this looks like something like that, the way the jump pops
